4 Days to go – Moody and emotional (sorry everyone at work)

Woke up just before my alarm this morning and felt ok but really struggled with fasted cardio on the treadmill for an hour. Had the gym changing rooms to myself so took my time and even did my hair instead of tying it up on the top of my head like I have been doing every other day (I think I look like the Trunchbull off Matilda when I do my hair like that). Got to work absolutely starving, so was in a mad rush to unpack and go and heat my porridge up. Whilst eating my porridge a few people at work are chatting and including me in the conversation and someone mentions that its not long to go till the big day (sounds like I am getting married) and I start to feel emotional and can feel tears building up in my eyes, so I just have to concentrate on scrapping the last bits of porridge out of my bowl to stop me from actually crying. The morning and pretty much the rest of the day involves me moping around at my desk, trying not to cry when someone asks me how I am getting on and trying not to eat all my food in one go as I am starving.

My usual visit to the horse runs smoothly and I am off to the gym at a good time. Tuesday is shoulders day but I added some tricep and bicep work as I wont be working them later in the week as it will just be posing practise. Got a good workout done even if I did struggle with some of the weights, which I think is because I am so tired now.

Posing practise went really well as Muscley Bitch Liz helped me with my side poses which I have been struggling with. I think my triceps are looking ok in the picture below;

Ended up chatting quite a bit to Liz but it was good as it snapped me out of my mood and cheered me up – thanks Liz. Finished the session off on the treadmill but could only complete 50 minutes as some flying beast nearly the same size as me was fluttering next to me and I started to panic thinking it would get to stuck to my sweaty shoulders if it tried to land on me. At one point some of my hair came loose and I thought it was the beast so started hitting myself manically on the treadmill.

My coach gave me the thumbs up for my side poses and diet for Thursday.

Not really much else to report on as I was in a stinky mood all day, cried at any opportunity and was nearly killed by some flying beast. I hoping that I have something more interesing to write about tomorrow.
