5 Days to go – Starting to get nervous

Had the best nights sleep ever, in fact I had my first lie in. Fasted cardio was on the treadmill as I needed someone to take my progress pictures at the gym to send to my Coach. She will then see what my diet will be for Thursday and Friday and what I can eat before I go on stage.

Had breakfast and felt really full, in fact I felt full all day which is also a first for me. Obviously like a child or old person as soon as I had eaten I had to sleep.

I had to make a trip into town to buy some horse feed and coffee as I had totally run out. So I put on my brave pants and went to the supermarket, I got what I needed and also completed some research into which Krispy Kreme donuts I will buy for after the show. I did not feel tempted or tortured so a successful trip to the supermarket.

Paid my usual visit to the horse and then off to do a bit of home furniture shopping and I was back home, eating and then sleeping.

Today was leg day, my last leg day before the competition and also carb day. I have felt pretty bloated all day from the carbs which I normally do but I think I am noticing more as the paranoia is staring to set in – need to keep calm. I went to the gym at tea time and hit it hard, maybe too much as I was like a zombie on my last cardio session. I complete my legs workout which took me just over an hour, an hours walk on the treadmill, around 40 minutes posing practise and then back on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

I am getting a bit worried about my side poses so have done some research back home and will practise tomorrow morning after cardio and again in the evening. I think if I can nail my right side pose then I will feel more confident about Saturday.

A bit of a boring blog today sorry. Emotions have been well contained, weight has come down, energy is so low but my focus is high and that is keeping me going. I just need to control the nerves and not let them get the better of me.
