Slept in again! This seems to be an emerging pattern. However I manage to get to the gym and complete an hours cardio session on the treadmill powered by Christina AgwaDooDah (also known as Christina Aguilera). Now I am not a big fan of her but somehow her music blurred time itself and I found my self 50 minutes in and having to practice my routine. There was someone else on the treadmill this morning so I had to be careful with my arms and try not to hit them. A quick 10 minutes of posing practice and I was off to work.
In today’s stand up I practised my quarter turns and made some more people who have not experienced this giggle. In fact Marie was having a bad morning and it seemed to cheer her up, so at least I managed to help someone today.
I need to mention that I woke up extremely hungry today but didn’t feel too lethargic until I got to work. I was struggling to get up one flight of stairs but thought it would be ok as today is a carb day as its a legs workout day so things would pick up. By lunchtime I was totally exhausted, but thankfully as my day was planned a bit differently due to appointments I had on, I managed to see the horse quickly and do my chores at lunchtime and go home for a sleep. I decided to have two meals before I slept as I was still so hungry. This turned out to be a bad idea as when I woke I had terrible IBS like symptoms but still dragged myself to the gym to train. Trying to do hip thrusters on the Smith Machine when your tummy is all swollen and its hard to stand up is the most painful thing ever. I am so proud of myself though as I pushed through it and completed all my legs session, my arms finisher and 30 minutes on the treadmill. By working through it it seemed to get rid of the issue (plus some special tablets I took) and I started to look a bit normal and be in less pain by the end of my session.
Had a relaxing time having my hair done at Strawberry Peach which is a fabulous hair salon I go to. Hair colour all refreshed, extensions tightened, ends trimmed all ready for the stage in 15 days. I should have completed another cardio session after my hair appointment but I felt too tired and didn’t want to wake up feeling even more exhausted. So an early night for me, it’s Friday tomorrow which is good because no work over the weekend and lots of time to train and sleep, but bad in other ways as its another weekend of locking myself away from everyone resisting the temptations of food.
