Not the best nights sleep was had, but I woke early and jumped on the scales which I do every morning as I am totally neurotic about my weight but find it helps me stay on track in a weird way. My weight has dropped to a new low record, fingers crossed it stays down at this new recording (almost sounds like a Guinness Book of Records achievement) for my next check in with my coach on Friday.
This mornings cardio took place of the treadmill even though the stairway to heaven was free. Yes you read right, it was free and I decided that I would rather go on the treadmill. This should demonstrate how tired I am, I am starting to enjoy walking for hours on the treadmill. Practised my routine in the last 10 minutes of my fast walk and then a spot of posing practise.
I forgot to mention that I am now using my time wisely at work and am practising my posing in the morning at my desk. I complete this whilst we do a project daily catch up stood around a board, I listen and give updates whilst posing. This is all held in an open plan floor so everyone can see me doing it. I heard a few giggles the first time I decided to be proactive with my time. I must point out that my manager is off on holiday and might not appreciate it when she comes back.
Didn’t have time to go for a walk a lunchtime today as I was super busy at work but I did avoid a protein powder malfunction with my clothes and ‘the staring man’. So you could call it a productive day in the office.
Today was back day and boy did I reach failure quickly but I was determined to push through all my reps, and did but I really felt it and struggled quite a bit. I managed to lift heavier in my legs finisher, completed more posing which might have been a mistake as my audience was far younger than compared to the mornings group of men. One guy couldn’t operate the machine he was on until I left and some other boys kept on sneakily glancing at me in the mirrors, if I made eye contact with them they giggled like little girls. Finished the session off on the treadmill which was a real chore and then home.
Today I have really struggled with energy all day. I am only working half a day tomorrow so will try and get a snooze in during the day to see if that helps. Only 16 days to go until I can eat more food and my training can get back on track. This is the thing that is bothering me the most at the moment, is the impact the low calorie intake is having on my training.
