I had the worst nights sleep ever. The reason I couldn’t sleep was that I couldn’t stop thinking of the different foods I could eat on the Sunday after my competition for breakfast. At this point in time I can still not tell you exactly what I have decided to eat on that Sunday. But at 4am I had decided that enough was enough and took some natural sleeping tablets to try and stop my brain from thinking and actually get some sleep. The only saving grace is that I had about 14 hours sleep Friday night and Saturday daytime, so come Sunday morning when the alarm went at 7am I didn’t feel too bad.
Fasted cardio was on the treadmill this morning. To start off with I was powered by Beyoncé and then towards the end I was practising my individual routine moves whilst walking and listening to the track we have picked (I cant tell you the song as it is top secret and totally cutthroat, someone could steal my tune). I am not sure what everyone else thought of the sweaty girl swinging her arms around on the treadmill for 10 minutes, but I think Sophie will be pleased that I have done some practising today and have listened to the song quite a few times.
The weather was beautiful today so took the horse out for a hack and had a cheeky little canter up this narrow track just avoiding a few dog walkers. I pretended to look like I was in control and had seen them all along when in fact I hadn’t and had a cheeky little chuckle to myself when they had gone.
Back to the gym for my second cardio session and I was back on my beloved stair way to heaven. Boy that thing kills you when you haven’t been on it for a few days. Quick shower and into my pyjamas and off to Martina’s to chill and watch Disney films. I didn’t pick the most discreet pjs to wear so looked very odd leaving them gym especially as it was only 2pm.
Bit of posing practise and then meal prep for next week. I managed to only poison test a bit of chicken which is good for me, so minimal snacking whils prepping. Somehow I have been super organised today and have completed all house work, meal prep, bags packed for work and have been ready to relax by 7pm. So I treated myself to possibly the most confusing and boring film ever and was totally disappointed when it finished (its called Nocturnal Animals – apologies if anyone does actually know what they story line was about and enjoyed it).
I have 20 days till competition. I had updated my inspiration board to show me what I have coming up this week to look forward to to keep me on track and keep my spirits up. Let’s see what this week brings.
