Day 21 – 3 weeks to go

Got a good nights sleep so woke up fairly energised. Fast cardio consisted of a fast walk from where I live into the next town and back which takes about an hour to complete. This was made even more special by the actual Delorian from Back to the Future driving past me – that made my week. Before breakfast I took my measurements and sent them off to my bikini lady. My sparkly bikini will be posted on 12th April which I am very excited about. A nice relaxing breakfast for once and then I was off to the gym to attend the circuits class which I have not completed in a while. It was great doing something different and although I found the running hard to start off with I soon managed to pick up my pace. I also managed to scare myself a little bit by realising how different I looked in the mirrors. To me I looked like a body builder doing this class and that made me smile, a bit vain I know but when you have to analyse your body everyday to see if you are coming in leaner it gets a bit difficult to see any changes.

Had my second meal at the gym and a big coffee and then was straight back at it working biceps and triceps. I find this the most difficult workout of the week and I think its because my biceps are quite week. At one point I was ready to give in, but the power of Beyoncé’s greatest hits pushed my through it and I even completed an additional set of bicep curls which took me to failure.

At this point I am knackered so head home for a snooze whilst ‘watching’ Jumanji. I am currently sharing a house but oh my god does he eat absolute crap food which I really want to eat right now. So my plan of attack to avoid temptation is to avoid him whilst in the kitchen. Unfortunately that did not work out today and after some kind of breakfast takeaway which smelt amazing, he is describing how amazing these freshly made bagels smell. I resort to hiding in my room and trying to push the thoughts of eating bagels covered in Nutella and chocolate bars with a side ordering of pizza to the back of my mind. I don’t think people realise how hard it is to be on such a strict diet especially when some people couldn’t do a realistic diet for one day. So I definitely have to avoid him for the next 20 days, after that we can eat crap together anytime.

After my 2 hour snooze (god I sound like an old person) I went back to the gym to complete a 30 minute fast walk on an incline. Went to see the horse and decided to ride, which I don’t get much time to do due to the training I am on. Went into the arena and he went like a dream. So we are definitely doing some competing this year once my competition is done with.

Finished the evening off with routine practise with my friend Sophie at her house. I am terrible at dancing, however in my mind and fuelled by alcohol I believe I am the greatest dancer in the world. So lots of pointers and errors corrected, did get a bit of a telling off for not being as advanced with knowing my routine as I should be. But by the end Sophie was pleased and I felt more confident. Next routine practise is booked in for Thursday at her studio so I need to practise, practise, practise and leave and breathe the music.

My coach was unable to speak to me about my current position today due to working late but did message to say she is happy with how my legs are coming in, but my ass isn’t. So I need to practise keeping it tensed in my poses. Diet will stay the same for next week and we will see what happens in the progress pictures that I will send her next Friday.

Energy back on a high, rage levels with regards to food at maximum capacity, focus is on track. I need to keep my head down for the next 20 days and push through any fatigue, food cravings and desires to kill people. Oh before I finish I did treat myself and bought a photo pack from the photographers at the competition.
