So following yesterdays blog, support has been flooding through left, right and centre. It has totally lifted me out of this slump and got me back on my feet. So thank you to everyone who messaged, liked, commented and even spoke to me face to face. If I didn’t have a good support network I would have given up ages ago and now that network has extended due to my blogs, I am truly grateful. Thank you all again.
This morning I changed things up a little bit and I literally mean a little bit. Obvously I took a trip on my favourite stair way to heaven but then proceeded to take my shoes and very sweaty socks off and pop on those beautiful stripper heels and complete around 15 minutes posing practise. This is what I am going to do every morning now, I will move my abs session to the evening as there are too many people in the gym that could potentially get freaked out by my shoes and the posing I do.
Managed to find time to go for a brisk walk up some hills during my lunch hour powered by 80′ music. Now I need to update you on the two strange things that happened to me today. Firstly when I woke up I felt fat which I think was because I was still a bit down and moody. Yet when I was practising my posing my arms looked really skinny which then made me panic that I had been training wrong and that I would walk on stage with string thin arms with knots for muscles and a fat ass. The second strange thing is that I have not been hangry at all and have in fact missed a meal as I was not hungry and didn’t want it. This randomness is brought to you by ‘Prep Brain’, the inability to function like a normal person whilst on prep. So I am in full mode ‘Prep Brain’.
Absolutely smashed my quads and calves session at the gym, so much so that I loaded the hack squat machine up a bit too much and nearly got stuck trying to rack it back up. But I think I did it in a cool way and no one noticed. I have new workouts to complete after my main workout call finishers which uses the opposite body section to what you have just worked. So as my main workout was legs today my finisher was arms. I nearly died about 5 times trying to complete this workout but the shoulder pump was impressive afterwards so I was pleased. I completed by abs session and then like a totally nutter as I was in the zone, jumped on the treadmill for a 30 minute fast walk on an incline.
So today has been amazing, mostly from all the support I have received in the many different forms but also as I seem to have my mojo back. Well something is back as I trained like a mentalist today. Bring on tomorrow.
