So today is the official start of the countdown to the finals which is on June 25th! Firstly I would like to say that the support and interest in my social media sites, my results at the weekend and my next journey to the finals has been overwhelming. I have inspired others to start healthy eating or start training and some have become interested in either competing in body building or supporting and watching competitions. So whatever it is that you do, doesn’t matter at what level you will inspire someone – remember that.
Today started off like all my previous days and that was with a fast walk on an incline on the beloved treadmill for 45 minutes. Unfortunately due to a family emergency I was unable to complete any other exercise other than the fasted cardio.
However, I can report that not only did the family emergency look like it was improving I was also invited to become an ambassador for Just Strong Clothing which is an active lifestyle clothing brand for strong women. I am blown away that after one competition and 6 months of body building training that a gym clothing company would approach me to become an ambassador. So ladies go and check out the following website and use code NQUICK10 for 10% off;

Tomorrow will be the first photo check in with my coach Sandi Birkett after my competition at the weekend. I have already mentioned to her that I have put a bit of weight on after comp which is to be expected and I am not worried as I know that most of it will be water and that I will soon lose it. I am quite excited to see my new diet and training plan as I have quite a bit of work to do to improve my body in 8 weeks for the final.
I have been getting my supplements and vitamins ordered today ready for the next 8 week prep, and after doing some research I have ordered some probiotics to take daily as I did struggle from time to time with my digestion (I mentioned in previous posts about suffering from IBS like symptoms). So I will try and support my digestive system with probiotics and use charcoal and peppermint to soothe any issues that might flare up. This seems to be a common issue as someone posted on FB today about similar problems and pains and what they should do to ease it. Lots of people responded with the common answers being peppermint, charcoal and using a hot water bottle.
So not a very active first day but tomorrow will be back to normal training wise (following the old plan until I get my new one). I am very excited about this next challenge and want to see how much improvement I can make in 8 weeks.
