Day 38 – No energy, not even enough to be moody

Back to Groundhog Day for me and I am on my beloved stairway to heaven followed by my abs routine. Now its worth pointing out at this time of the day I am feeling full of beans, slightly hungry but so far not at maximum capacity starvation levels. I get to work and struggle to find the energy to get up one flight of stairs. It’s ok though as its due to me not eating yet and that ssingle drop of coffee has not entered my system yet – this is what I tell myself. 

By mid morning I still cant get up that bloody flight of stairs without feeling knackered and I am two meals down and have drunk a million coffees and a few sparkling waters to spice things up a bit. So I decide to get some fresh air at lunchtime and go for a little stroll round the park. If anyone was watching they would think I either had an illness which caused me to walk slowly and struggle with energy, or that I had never worked out in my entire life and I was extremely unfit.

The day doesn’t get much better and I am starting to think that I might need to change my exercise routine for the week and take today off. I complete my usual visit to the horse and then have to go home to complete some paperwork before going to the gym which is not my normal routine. I am sat down for around an hour and some how feel quite refreshed for it, although I had been drinking some strong coffee as well. So I manage to hit the gym and complete my back session, complete my final cardio session and practise my routine to send to my friend to review. I am not looking as sexy as I should be in my routine and really need to practise otherwise I am just going to get laughed off stage when I compete. My friend who was filming me said I looked constipated, so I really need to practise.

So today’s lesson, take some down time before working out in the evening on low carb days as it seems to help boost the old energy levels. I must apologise as this blog is very boring,that’s due to me being knackered again.
